Founder (Father)
Craig has worked in the HVAC industry for over 30 years as well as owned and operated his own HVAC company in Seattle. After he retired he moved to Hood River and helped his son to start McDowell & Son.
Craig is retired and enjoys spending his free time skiing and hanging out with his family and friends.
Founder & Field Manager (son)
Terry grew up in Seattle where he started working for his father’s HVAC company when he was still in high school. He moved to Hood River in 1986 to pursue his passion for windsurfing and dirt biking. After several years of working in the sporting industry he decided to get back into the trade he learned from his father growing up. With the help and guidance of his father he started McDowell & Son in 1996.
In Terry’s free time he enjoys kite boarding, dirt bike riding, skiing and playing music with his band Ten30.
Office Manager
Melissa worked for several years as a project manager and graphic designer and while she had been involved with McDowell & Son since the beginning it wasn’t until 2008 that she decided to join the team full time.
When not working Melissa enjoys playing tennis, hanging out with her girlfriends, and spending time with her kids.
Lead Installer
Ryan started working for McDowell & Son when he was only 19. Now, several years later, he has worked his way into a lead position. He still looks like he is 19, but don’t let that fool you, he is a very skilled and knowledgeable HVAC installer.
In his free time Ryan enjoys hunting, fishing, gardening and hanging out with his dogs.
Marco started working for McDowell & Son in 2015. He is a real sweeheart and he and Ryan Ross make a great team.
In his free time Marco enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and daughter.
Ryan grew up in Hood River, and McDowell & Son is fortunate he decided to move back after spending several years in California getting his technician training and experience. Our customers are always commenting on how polite, courteous and knowledgeable Ryan is while in their homes.
In his free time Ryan enjoys spending time with family.
